England hasn't been impressive in UEFA Euro 2024, but it has made it to the doorstep of a final as it remains on track for redemption following its heartbreaking championship loss in the 2021 Euro.
In England's way is the Netherlands, a squad that is in the semifinals despite finishing third in its group (behind Austria and France).
Both teams endured scares en route to the semifinals. England was moments away from elimination in the Round of 16 against Slovakia, only to score two goals late. Then England needed to win a penalty kick shootout against Switzerland in the quarterfinals. The Netherlands was down 1-0 in the quarterfinals to Turkey before scoring twice in the second half.
While England aims at a return to the Euro final, the Netherlands hasn't played in the Euro final since 1988 when it won the tournament.
The Netherlands-England winner will meet Spain in the UEFA Euro 2024 final Sunday at Berlin's Olympiastadion.
